About Me

I first knew I wanted to do hair when I was still in grade school. I'm not exactly sure when it was that the thought first took place, but in 8th Grade we had to list in our yearbook what we wanted to be when we grew up. I wrote, "Beautician."

Through high school, my plans changed slightly based on pressure from my teachers to "Do Something" with my life. Apparently going to 'Beauty School' wasn't enough. So for a time, I thought I might become a teacher. But, during my senior year, I began looking through the local Community College classes to decide which generals to take.  While doing that, I came across the Cosmetology Program. "Hey," I thought, "I used to want to do that!" So, I went back to plan A.  And I'm SO glad I did!

I graduated from the Cosmetology Program at Walla Walla Community College in April of 1999. In 2003, I became a certified Extension Specialist with Hairlocs Inc. I worked in the Walla Walla Valley since graduating in 1999, and just recently moved to the beautiful Colville valley. I currently work at The Hair Station in Colville, and periodically at Bella in Walla Walla for all my loyal extension clients.
